Cameron Economic Development Corporation Elects Officers
Cameron, Texas — The Cameron Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) held its annual board meeting on September 19, 2025.
The board approved minutes from the September 4 meeting and acknowledged City Council’s reappointments of James Camp, Mike Zajicek, and Sara Kostroun, along with the new appointment of Chris Egger. Chris Egger is Vice President of Operations for EBCO General Contractor. All appointees serve a two-year term.
Each will serve a two-year term beginning October 1, 2025. The board also recognized Carl Bradley for six years of dedicated service to the economic development corporation. Carl has served with distinction in the role of Vice President, bringing steady leadership, thoughtful insight, and a deep commitment to Cameron’s growth. His contributions have helped shape the future of our community with integrity and vision.
Officers for the 2025–2026 fiscal year were elected. James Camp, President; Sara Kostroun, Vice President; and Mike Zajicek Secretary/Treasurer.
In other business the board approved the FY2024–2025 audit engagement letter and entered executive session to discuss economic development negotiations and real property matters. No action was taken during the executive session.
