I14 Feasibility Study Underway

The Bryan District of TxDOT has begun a route feasibility study. The study is divided into three planning phases: Phase1 Feasibility Study is expected to take three-years, Phase 2 Transition is a one-year phase, and Phase 3 Route Study is also expected to take three-years. A Study webpage is available at I-14 Central Texas Corridor Study (txdot.gov)

The fact sheet found at this link is a nice overview of the process and study considerations.

Phase 1 and Phase 3 include various public meetings. Phase 1 meetings may begin in the Spring or Summer of 2023; however, schedules have yet to be finalized.
