Cameron Economic Development Office Relocation
Cameron Economic Development—a partnership between the Cameron Industrial Foundation (CIF) and the Cameron Economic Development Corporation (CEDC)—is committed to supporting business growth, fostering investment, and strengthening the long‑term economic vitality of our community.
For many years, through a strong partnership with the Cameron Chamber of Commerce, our office operated from the Chamber building under a lease agreement that served both organizations well. With the Chamber’s recently announced new direction, the Economic Development office required a new location. We fully support the Chamber’s forward‑looking decision and sincerely appreciate the many years of shared space and collaboration that have contributed to Cameron’s success.
New Office Location – Effective March 9
As of March 9, the Cameron Economic Development office is now operating from its new location at Cameron City Hall:

This relocation reflects a change in address—not a change in mission. CIF and CEDC will continue working closely with businesses, developers, community partners, and residents to encourage growth, advance key initiatives, and promote Cameron as a strong place to invest and operate.

About the Cameron Industrial Foundation (CIF)
The Cameron Industrial Foundation’s mission is to serve as a facilitator for the advancement and enhancement of industrial, commercial, and community development for Cameron. The CIF is a non-profit organization working with new and expanding businesses interested in establishing or growing their presence in Cameron. Since 1964, the CIF has been the first point of contact for all economic developments and continues to guide opportunities that strengthen our local economy.
About the Cameron Economic Development Corporation (CEDC)
The CEDC is a public entity established under the authority of the City to administer an economic development sales tax known as a “Type B” sales tax. The CEDC contracts with the CIF to market and promote Cameron economic development. The CEDC provides the funding for economic development activities undertaken by the CIF.
As part of this office transition, the CEDC will lease space from the City of Cameron. We extend our appreciation to the Mayor, City Manager, and City Staff for their support in making this move possible.
