U.S. and State Highways

U.S. 190 and State Highway 36 share an east west road bed through Cameron.  U.S. Highway 77 intersects with U.S. Highway 190 and State Highway 36 as the North South route.  U.S. Highway 77 is frequently used as an alternate North South route to IH 35.  IH 35 is approximately 30 miles (or 30 minutes) Northwest of Cameron.

The most current Texas Department of Transportation traffic counts are 2016 figures.  New figures based on early 2018 traffic counts are anticipated.

The Cameron Municipal Airport is considered to be asset in the City of Cameron.  As such the City consistently seeks to maintain and improve the facilities.  At the Cameron Municipal Airport you will find:
