GED Training is available through several resources in Milam County. In Cameron contact the Cameron ISD Superintendent’s office. Classes are free but limited in size. The Workforce Center in Rockdale offers GED training subject to funding availability. Classes are held at the Rockdale Workforce Center. Contact the Workforce Center at 1(800) 487-7520 for information.

In additions to Temple College and TSTC, Cameron has within close proximity three national recognized universities and several other smaller universities: Baylor University, Texas A&M University and The University of Texas at Austin.
Waco, Texas is approximately 50 minutes from Cameron. Baylor is a private co-educational Baptist institution offering Undergraduate, Graduate, Law and Seminary schools.
